Today the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum concludes. The past days the India Adda has been abuzz with business meetings, media interviews, conversations on India, and all happening at the same. Our last scheduled conversation was with Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO, WPP. Dressed casually, Sir Sorrell had a flowing conversation on Brand India. For him, Brand India meant Intellect, Talent, Media, Fastest growing democracy, Bollywood, Cricket and Diversity. Whilst India had its set of challenges, Brand India has had the right positioning - Fastest growing democracy, he said. IBEF had launched this positioning here at Davos 2006 and the fact that it continues to resonates today at Davos speaks volumes of the economy. And we ain’t the ones saying it….the perception is changing!
